Blogger, these days unveil so many new features such as Threaded commenting system and BloggerSearch Preferences and now the big thing Google Affiliate Ads for Blogger.  This is a great feature for those who make money with their blog and is a great way to make more money with blog.

Google has just announced about it’s another monetization option for Blogger blogs. This is just a affiliate network. So, If you are a Blogger user, then  here is a great opportunity for you to earn more money by your Blogger blogs.

What is Google Affiliate Ads

The Google Affiliate Ads is a new Affiliate Marketing Network by Google and a positive initiative towards the publisher who post about brands or products review on their blog and recommend their readers to go for that product. This is new way to monetize Blogger’s Blog. 

The new Google Affiliate Ads has been introduced in the form of a widget which you easily add to your blog post to earn commission. Whenever you write a post about a brand, product and service this Google Affiliate Ad widget will help you to display a relevant affiliate ad on your post. You can choose a relevant ad that can be a test-link ad, an image or a banner.

As we know affiliate is different from the Pay-per-click or Impression ads like Adsense ad. So the Google Affiliate Ad is completely different from the Adsense. Affiliate Marketing is all about the performance of affiliates. This will pay on pay-per-sale basis, when a visitor click your affiliate ad and makes a purchase then will earn a commission for referring that visitor. Here you will as much commission as you sale.

You will get your commission of your affiliate with your Google Adsense payment means your affiliate money will be paid through your Adsense account.

How to get Started with Google Affiliate Ads

To get started with Google Affiliate Ads you must should have a Google Adsense account. If you have you don’t need to set up account for this just sign in using you Adsense account.

To get started, go to your Blogger account and clicks on the Earnings Tab. You will find a option a Get Started click on it and follow the rest process. Now whenever you write a post you can select an affiliate ad from the “Advertiser Products” widget that appears in the post editor.

Limitations

Since Google Affiliate Ads is new program, it is in a beta stage and the number of ad categories is limited so may be you won’t see select ad option because your blog content does not match ad categories.

And the second thing, Unfortunately the service is limited to the U.S people. People outside of U.S can’t use this feature yet. However it’s fresh feature and will take time to mature.
