Most of us have already tried or are considering trying to build our own atomizers, some because it’s more cost-efficient, others because they have become picky and wish for something in particular when it comes to their e-cigs, but whatever the reason, it is on most of our minds. The problem is that sometimes, efforts put into rebuildable or DIY atomizers prove to be dismal failures and we’re stuck with trying to find solutions for our problems, more often than not, budget friendly solutions for the passionate vaper
There are many producers you can choose from and we’ll go through some atomizers that seem to not only do the job quite decently but carry themselves well when it comes to price/quality ratio. Nevertheless, if you are not a fan of atomizers you can always purchase blu electronic cigarettes because they offer a unique experience. Joytek Atomizers for instance seem to have great reviews (although you should be weary of the break-in period they all seem to need) and many vapers try to find other atomizers that can match them.
Be careful when choosing atomizers, most vapers feel comfortable with atties that range from 2 Ohm to 2.4 Ohm, although there are some 1.8 Ohm (they seem to be too hot for standard vapers) and even higher than 2.4 Ohm available. There are 510 atomizers available from East Mall both bridge and bridgeless (bridges are easy to remove if desired). Similar atomizers are available on VaporBeast and the good part is that you do not need drip shields with them (although the feature is available if desired).
Shifus on the Vmod seem to have also received wonderful reviews and the price is also affordable- between $4.50 and $5- excellent for vapers on a budget. Avid and Empire atomizers are also excellent although they can be a bit more expensive.
A thing to consider though is that even when trying to save a few pennies, there are really no atomizers that are extremely cheap but also taste good (like Empire, Cisco, Ikenvape or Vapage atomizers) so you need to decide how much you are willing to give up in taste and quality of vape in favor of price.
Changeable atomizers are also a possibility you may consider, eVic for instance offers them and many vapers enjoy the fact that they can vape at 5.0 volts continuously without having to deal with the burnt taste that can occur with some atomizers. Moreover, they have a sealed construction so leakage is no issue.
Leakage with atomizers is a complication you simply will have to deal with since most of them leak at some point. Take into consideration that as opposed to Empire, Avid, Ikenvape and Ahlusion atomizers, you will need to pre-clean your Joyes atomizers or they will taste weird. Once in a while blow through the threaded bottom so as to get them cleaned, or simply rinse them in running water as simple yet effective maintenance. Should they get really dirty, soak them in Pure Grain Alcohol for a few hours and rinse them with warm water afterwards, although it is highly unlikely they will get this dirty if you wash them properly and on a constant basis.
